A former employee said this in a review "Didn't learn a lot from working at WSI. No good raises and can’t grow with the company. Never got learn how to use a roll clamp or got more experience on the material handling. Since it's a storage warehouse we handle all different types of material and never learned anything".
Auditor I (Former Employee) says"Work-life balance"
Yard Driver (Current Employee) says"You're very over worked and under paid. They will promise you a lot that. But you won't recieve anything they promise you. You will be told you get a raise at 90 days and 180 and you won't recieve either one of them. Cons: They promise you multiple raise that you won't get"
Material Handler/Security Sub Lead. (Former Employee) says"Managenent does not treat the associates with respect. The Inventory/Operations Manager makes it his mission to write up and discipline as many associates as he can for anything and everything. The site manager does nothing to try and work out a better working relationship between the Ops Manager and the rank and file associates."
Lto driver (Former Employee) says"A good business but the management show favoritism to employees and coworkers do Inappropriate things at this job with people’s husbands and wives not a good place to work there very Crooked"
Shipping and Receiving (Former Employee) says"If you plan on working for WSI , you might want to see if any employees are related to the lead or supervisor, for they will treat you like dirt ( blood is thicker than water) and make you work harder....while they are taking it easy. Any vacation requested has to make sure it doesn't interact with the lead and son (employee) fishing trip.....etc. Any problems or issues you have will just go into one ear and out the other....for the lead & supervisor are lunch buddies, and probably laughing about your issues at work. For nothing will get done about it......trust me I've had numerous talks and it was always never dealt with. (Problem not solved) Cons: Work you like a dog"
Security Guard (Current Employee) says"Head of security is a joke and fully brings out her insecurities on you."
Maintenance/Material Handler (Former Employee) says"● Work-life balance"
Recruiter (Former Employee) says"And I do mean Team. The HR Manager and Benefits Associate do EVERY THING TOGETHER. They literally walk to get the mail (down the street) together. They are reactive, not proactive. Micro Manage and dictate (when you can take your lunch) where you can eat your lunch. And this was PreCovid. Cons: Everything else"
Warehouse Manager (Former Employee) says"I would never recommend anyone work here. The management is horrible. You are micromanaged constantly. You are under constant stress. On the bright side the pay is good. But you are paid to give up any outside life. Cons: none"
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says"Working at WSI pays well, but I personally did not receive full and proper training for the job. Training was required for all areas so that if an area was short-handed, anyone could cover at a moment’s notice. I however was not given proper training in an area and it caused my job to be taken away. I am high-functioning Aspergers, and made it very clear that I would need clear and constructive critique of my performance. My last trainer did not give any feedback and only wrote in her report of what I had been doing incorrectly, which led to my unexpected leave from the company. Cons: Improper training."
Forklift Operator (Current Employee) says"poor management deal with a lot of stress and but love to ride forklift and load and off load trucks dealing with stress enviroment Cons: n/a"
Material Handler/Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says"Terrible management unfair pay selective employee treatment over worked employees and equipment they only worry when the big shots walk through otherwise everything is neglected. Cons: Under paid"
Material Handler and Forklift Operator (Current Employee) says"They are more concerned with making their numbers than over-working an already short staffed building. They do however have good benefits. They continue to put inexperienced people on equipment. Cons: High turn over rate"
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says"The compensation for amount of work that is being done when ur dealing with heavy tires ,Is barely anything ,compared to the money u get paid which is basically nothing !!"
Inventory Control Specialist (Former Employee) says"In 4 ish months must have seen fifty plus people come and go. They treat employees like garbage. Dont care about anyone but themselves, management that is. If you could hear all the talk behind everyones back in that center office.....MY GOD!!!! Evil work enviroment. STAY AWAY!!!!!! Cons: Management"
Operations supervisor (Current Employee) says"people are great. management needs replaced. no work/life balance. everything is product in and product out. no concern about drugs or safety. could be a great place to work"
roll haul/LTO (Current Employee) says"this could be a nice place to work if management would was changed up, very overbearing with no respect towards employees. salary is ok for starting out, but they will go out of their way to keep you from getting raises. its work if in a pinch but definitely wouldn't recommend for career type if you have any type of character and backbone to stand up for yourself. Cons: poor management"
Factory Worker (Current Employee) says"I worked at five of there building it was only a as needed temp service never a permanent position and never knew when u work and always some kind of drama none of the factors are very clean Cons: Not enough work"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at WSI Internet full-time Cons: They spend too much on franchise development and not enough on franchise operations"
says"I worked at WSI Internet Cons: compensation is not worth the work put forward"
Regional Development Director says"I worked at WSI Internet Cons: The salary expectations they set are completely dishonest. When hiring they put out one slick talking sales guy who sells the job big saying a person can make $50-60K easy but they are looking for six figure earners. The VP's then come in and say you'll make $32K first year and more after that. The fact that the salary is $18K should tell you enough of how much they are willing to invest in their employees and the true earnings potential. The fact that they hire in groups and there is a never-ending revolving door of new employees coming and going is a clear sign how much they try and keep people happy. The only people making money are the four or five senior people there. Even busting their humps, most of the non-senior people do not even make $40K. And from 2010 onwards sales dropped to nothing. Now in 2011 most regional development directors barely make over minimum wage. And then in weekly training sessions the VP's turn around and blame it on the sales people's attitudes. A lot of the company's problems are due to negative publicity online with people calling the business a scam. It's not a scam. But for a company selling itself as the leaders in online brand management and lead generation, it's a good indication of how poorly managed the company is when blogs and minor websites can destroy their own reputation and lead generation."
